400 followers on Twitter!
Adelle Charles, Co-Founder, and Chief Creative Officer at Fuel Brand Inc., became my 400th follower on Twitter today, and I consider it an honor.
Since I am on the subject of Twitter, I can say without doubt that every follower is somehow related to my field(s) of interest. Unlike celebrities or some of my fellow acquaintances, for me it is not a contest to see who has more followers, but rather the quality of followers.
You may be thinking, “what a hypocrite! In the previous paragraph he quotes that it is not about numbers, yet the title of this post states otherwise,” whereto I would reply, I am not excited over the fact that I have 400 followers as a number, however, I am excited over the fact that I have 400 “quality” followers that took many years to acquire, and that, my friends, is worth shouting about.I can honestly say that I have received sound advice as well as the ability to sustain my knowledge of the newest technologies and software, ultimately laying the foundation to allow me to be an informed and better “creative.”Oprah Winfrey, Ashton Kutcher, and others who have an abundance of followers may have bragging rights, however, something tells me they do not receive the sense of community that I do every day.Thank you to all the wonderful and creative persons who follow me on Twitter, you are the best!
