Just Another Day on the Job
Upon entrance to my prison
The evil is present and real
Despair hangs like a thick black fog
The rafters sweat words of hate
Walls reek of jealousy
As I begin the decent to my cell
I feel my very soul being raped of its life force
The atmosphere chills me to the bone
As cold steel pressed against my skin
Stolen Identity
Identity erased
Empty shell
Speck of dust
Damaged & decayed
Storm clouds
Looming
Smell of sewage
A prisoners toilet
Nine Seven
Milady . . .
On the last eve of the full moon
As I watched the mist dance upon the mountains
And the moon caress the treetops
My eyes closed
And I slipped into a dream.
I dreamt of your beauty
Standing at the edge of our castle
Awaiting my return from a long journey.
I see you in the distance.
