Life, Death, and Other Famous Recipes ~ MAJOR UPDATE
Dear friends and fans,
A few weeks ago I announced that my book was to be put on hold due to personal reasons, and although partly true, the larger issue was ethical.
I am moved to explain in detail the events that led up to my decision as it has always been you, the fans, that have been my motivation to release my work to the public. You have supported me in more ways than you will ever know and for that I am grateful.
With an impending release date of May 14, 2010, there was no way I was going to be able to deliver the product I intended without sacrificing quality, and I refuse to rush for the sake of getting it done. It is wrong, it is unethical, and I will have no part of it.
Whether I sell one book or 1,000 books, I must remain true to myself, and ultimately to you, my friends and fans.
The book has been pushed back to 01/01/2011, which is not to say it will not be released before that date, but I feel it is a “safe” date, and one that sits well with my soul, knowing that whoever purchases this package would have received every penny spent and more.
I took on this project by myself two years ago, however, it has become larger than initially anticipated, and I can no longer do it alone. Some very close and talented friends have come forward to help, allowing me to release the book without ethical guilt.
Lastly, I would like to give personal thanks to the following individuals who are donating their time to this project and asking for nothing in return. (I am however giving them a free autographed book, and will not take no for an answer! It is the very least I can do.)
